You can comment here or <a href="http://iam.anewlis.com/?p=190#comments">there</a>.</strong><br /> </p>uhm... well I wasn&#39;t going to share this, but it seems to have provided a lot of good laughter for my husband... my boss and co-worker... children ... doctor, etc.Â&#160; So why would I deprive you?!</p> <p></p> <p>After rehearsal last night, I was trying to talk myself into going to the gym.Â&#160; Instead I did the very thing I shouldn&#39;t have.Â&#160; I turned on the TV.Â&#160; Lo and behold, &#39;Love &amp; Basketball&#39; was on.Â&#160; There went the gym.Â&#160; I actually only ended up watching for a short while before deciding I should really just go to bed.Â&#160; Changed into sleep gear and decided that at that very moment, at 1am or so, it was a good idea to go ahead and hang the ceiling in my room.</p> <p>So I&#39;m standing on my bed with my left foot on the edge of my nightstand... the safe wood part, not the unsafe glass part (heh).Â&#160; And with the quickness multiple thoughts ran through my head.Â&#160; Let me give it to you exactly as it occured.<br /> <ul><br /> <li>thinks this is probably not a good idea at all</li><br /> <li>remembers scarlett taking a fall and states again &#39;this is probably not a good idea at all&#39;</li><br /> <li>thinks - thought my foot is on the wood part, it would proably be really bad if it landed up on the glass</li><br /> <li>hears a loud pop</li><br /> <li>feels a weird sensation of falling</li><br /> <li>realizes i fell</li><br /> <li>realizes i&#39;m lying on the floor looking just like scarlett</li><br /> <li>son #1 comes in and i assure him that though I am on the floor, i am fine</li><br /> <li>realize there is blood on carpet</li><br /> <li>realize there is a HUGE gash in my foot right by my toe</li><br /> <li>realize blood is flowing out like crazy.</li><br /> <li>my son gives me some towels.</li><br /> <li>i proceed to clean up the blood from the carpet.</li><br /> <li>thinks &#39;don&#39;t feet contain a serious artery?&#39;</li><br /> <li>wonders, if i should call the parmedics</li><br /> <li>gets back into some clothes and calls paramedica</li><br /> <li>realizes, my foot isn&#39;t really bleeding anymore</li><br /> <li>call off the paramedics</li><br /> <li>thinks, i just need to elevate my foot and go to bed.Â&#160; i wrap it and do just that</li><br /> </ul><br /> Now seems like a good time to wrap this story up.Â&#160; I went to the doctor today.Â&#160; He said I did a good job of cleaning it.Â&#160; He then asked what size shoe I wear and that man did he have a nice show for me.Â&#160; So for the next 6 days, it&#39;s me and this beauty on my left foot which I am to stay off of.</p> <p><a href="http://iam.anewlis.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/newshooz.jpg"><br /> <img alt="" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-191" height="577" src="http://iam.anewlis.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/newshooz.jpg" title="newshooz" width="433" /><br /> </a></p> <p>And at the risk of further embarrassing myself, this is pretty much what it looked like<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> </p> <p>LOL - God has spoken...
